Bergamot and Bronzes, two nights on the Strait

Between November and March, along the Ionian coast of the province of Reggio Calabria, bergamot is harvested. This package brings you into that season: two nights at the B&B Around The World in Villa San Giovanni, breakfast included, and a day in Reggio Calabria, about twenty minutes by train.

In the morning it is at the National Bergamot Museum, in the city center. The museum tells over three centuries of the history of citrus fruit through the machines for the extraction of the essence, from the eighteenth century to the sixties of the twentieth century. After the guided tour there is the workshop on essences: we move from the story to the scent.

Lunch is in the city, included in the package. In the afternoon you enter the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria with a certified guide, up to the Riace Bronzes. The return to Villa San Giovanni is free, by train.
