Based in Reggio Calabria, the route combines a visit to the city and the famous Riace Bronzes to the discovery of Scilla and Chianalea, the villages of Pentedattilo and Bova and the historical heritage of Gerace.
Guided tours, typical lunches and an experience dedicated to local cuisine accompany a stay designed to get to know the area at a leisurely pace and time to explore freely.

Itinerary
Welcome to Reggio Calabria
Reception and transfer to the accommodation in Reggio Calabria. After check-in, free time to settle in and take a first walk in the city. A welcome aperitif introduces the local flavors and the program of the stay. Arrival and transfer according to travel time; aperitif approximately at 6:30 pm.
Reggio Calabria and the Riace Bronzes
A morning dedicated to the discovery of Reggio Calabria, with a guided tour of the historic center and the Lungomare Falcomatà. The tour continues at the National Archaeological Museum, custodian of the Riace Bronzes and the testimonies of Magna Graecia, and ends with a local tasting. Afternoon and evening free to experience the city and its Christmas atmosphere.
Scilla and Chianalea: stories of the sea and local flavors
Departure from the accommodation for Scilla. A guided tour accompanies the discovery of the village and Chianalea, among alleys, houses overlooking the water and tales of the maritime tradition. Typical lunch included and time for a walk before returning to Reggio Calabria. Free evening.
Pentedattilo and Bova: in the heart of Greek Calabria
A day in two of the most evocative villages in southern Calabria. In Pentedattilo, the guided tour tells the story of the village gathered at the foot of its characteristic cliff. The journey continues to Bova, the center of Greek culture, to explore its alleys and learn about the linguistic and cultural traditions of the area. Typical lunch included and visits to the sites included in the program. Return to Reggio Calabria in the afternoon.
Gerace: a journey through medieval Calabria
Departure for Gerace and guided tour of the historic center, among stone alleys, squares and glimpses of Locride. The route tells the history of the village and its artistic and religious heritage, with a stop at the Cathedral according to opening hours. Free time for lunch and an individual walk. Return to Reggio Calabria in the afternoon and free evening.
Christmas traditions at the table
An experience dedicated to Calabrian cuisine and pastry during the Christmas period. During the workshop, preparations and stories allow you to get closer to local gastronomic traditions, with tasting of what has been made. The afternoon is free to walk around Reggio Calabria, buy local products or enjoy a moment of relaxation.
Goodbye Calabria
Last breakfast and free time compatibly with the return trip. Transfer to the scheduled departure point and conclusion of the stay.
